Yes, this should work well. I replaced the HD in a Dell 17 inch 2 in 1 with this SSD. Just keep in mind this SSD is not necessarily for gaming users but it works well for my needs (heavy internet use, school work, design work, etc...,)

As long as you have an HDMI output on your computer it should work just fine.
