Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, this drive should work just fine in that laptop.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. From what I’ve read about your system - with the right OS - it should work very well.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. In short, yes it should. I was unable to determine if this laptop is restricted to SATA II however (so the drive may be limited to less than 300 MB/s). There is also an option for swapping the optical drive for a 2.5" drive caddy. The service manual is here: https://downloads.dell.com/manuals/all-products/esuprt_laptop/esuprt_latitude_laptop/latitude-e6420-xfr_service%20manual_en-us.pdf I guess swapping for an SSD allows the laptop to be rated for use at 15.000', instead of being limited to 10.000'
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It doesn't come with migration/cloning software--you will need that function. I doubt that it conforms to any MIL-SPEC. However, it IS more durable than any conventional hard disk. it gave new life to both my very old Dell Latitude and imy 3 year old hp Envy computers, which have significantly different physical mountings.
