• I don't see why it wouldn't. If you have concerns about filling the 512GB, the 1TB isn't that much more expensive

• I have an i7 motherboard as well and have no problems with the addition of this ssd as a second drive.... works fine.

• It should work fine as long as you have the connections and cables needed. Recommendation, do your homework on what is needed by your computer for power and cabling before installing so you are prepared.
