Hi, please be informed that all our USB Drives of 64GB and above capacity are pre-formatted in the "exFAT" File System and most of the TVs/ Media Players do not natively support reading USB Drives formatted in the exFAT File System. If your TV/ Firestick supports reading and playing movies stored on USB Drive that is formatted in the exFAT File System, then you can use this USB Drive with your TV/ Firestick, otherwise, you would need to format the USB Drive in a File System supported by your TV/ Firestick. If you wish to get help from our support staff for the same, please feel free to contact SanDisk® Support at 1-866-SANDISK and we would be glad to assist you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I purchased this for the sole purpose of TV viewing. I copied MPEG4 files onto the drive and plugged it into my TV and it worked great. Because I was watching a series I had to rename my files (01-09) so that it would show up in order, but that's the only change I had to make. Just make sure the format you use is compatible with your TV.
