• The ipad connectors are different, and better since they don't have an up and down orientation, but similar flash drives are more expensive.

• Mine in particular only works with android. When looking, be sure to add OTG (ON THE GO) for I phone, or Apple.

• Depends on what generation I pad you have. If you charge with lightning cable it will not work unless you buy and adapter.
