I have only had it for about a month or so... it does get HOT if left in for extended periods so not sure how it will affect the data, if at all.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If you have as many pictures as I do on my computer, 64 gb is not enough to back up your computer. Check how much space you're taking up on your computer and see if there's enough space on your Sandisk to use it to back up your files. Admittedly even the 128 gb flash drive is not enough to hold all my pictures and documents. Good luck.
