Some screen sizes in the Yoga 900 series have no "spinner" mechanical disk that this 7mm by 2.5" SSD trades places with.

As the Lenovo 900's come with SSD drives as original equipment, this drive should work with no problem. The only problem you will encounter is locating software to clone your current HD. Macrium Reflect (trial version) did the trick for me but cloning a smaller hard drive unto the SanDisk 960 gb also required the use of a "disk-manager" application to format and merge the unused portion of the SanDisk drive. For this I used Acronis Disk Director.
