          Answer

You will likely need some sort of tray adaptor to mount it, as most PC cases use 3.5 inch drive bays, not 2.5 inch. Other than that, it uses standard Sata power and data connections.

          Answer

If your computer uses the SATA connector for the hard drive it will work. Look at the Apple Icon on the top left of your screen, About This Mac. Then select Advanced, then Hardware. On the left hand side scroll down to SATA/SATA Express. If your hard drive is listed, then this one will work for your computer.

            Answer

My son placed an SSD on the PS4 and it's working fine. The SSD decreases in performance by writing to the drive instead of reading it.

Yes. That would great in your Asus Laptop. It's just going to make that machine run 50% or more faster. These drives are so fast.

Seeing that it initially has a 1TB spinning hard drive; I will confidently say yes. It will fit with any machine that carries the 2.5" SATA hard drive bay. It has the more slim format for netbooks, but comes with a bracket that will help it more accurately fit older netbooks and laptops.

It should work fine, standard HD footprint as a Notebook spinning disk HD. You may not get the maximum speed benefits if your laptop isn't a Sata 3 connection. Jacks are the same, but Sata 3 has a faster transfer rate.
