• I installed this on my 2011 MacBook Pro so as long as your Mac is a laptop instead of a desk top, there should be no problems.

• Yes, but you have to be very careful when removing the glass/installing the drive. Lots of screws to remove before getting to the drive area

• It should be compatible - physically accessing the hard drive is very challenging on the iMac, however. Lots of pieces to remove for a hard drive replacement on the iMac. There are good resources on YouTube for this very project - study carefully before cracking open the case.

• Double-check in System Profiler whether the NVidia MCP79 shipset is being used in that model; if so, SanDisk SSDs will not boot. Use the PNY CS1311 instead.
