Usually, data migration problems occur because your source drive has errors on it. Check the source drive for errors with the fix option and also scan for bad sectors. You can do this by having the source drive installed in your pc and boot up. Right click on the C: drive in Windows Explorer. Click Properties. Click the Tools tab. Click Check now under Error Checking. Put a check mark in both Automatically Fix Errors and Scan bad sectors. Click yes when asked to scan on boot up. Reboot and let it scan and fix. When finished, try again. Hope this helps!
