• If your computer uses the SATA connector for the hard drive it will work. Look at the Apple Icon on the top left of your screen, About This Mac. Then select Advanced, then Hardware. On the left hand side scroll down to SATA/SATA Express. If your hard drive is listed, then this one will work for your computer.

• No it will not work. That model uses the thinner smaller SSD. Do your research and don't go threw all the efforts to open your computer to disappointment.
