Will this work with a mid 2012 macbook pro null

If your computer uses the SATA connector for the hard drive it will work. Look at the Apple Icon on the top left of your screen, About This Mac. Then select Advanced, then Hardware. On the left hand side scroll down to SATA/SATA Express. If your hard drive is listed, then this one will work for your computer.

As long as it isn't a Retina screen, yes.
