Hi jc0506, If the TV’s mounting holes don’t line up with the plate on this mount, that usually means the VESA pattern on your TV is larger than what the mount supports. This model is designed for smaller TVs (19"–43") and specific VESA ranges, so if your TV’s mounting pattern extends beyond the width of the mount’s bracket, it simply won’t attach properly. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to install the TV on this mount if the plate doesn’t reach the screw positions on your TV — that can’t be fixed safely with spacers or different bolts. If you’d like help confirming your TV’s exact size and VESA pattern, we can recommend the proper SANUS mount that will fit correctly. Feel free to reach out to [email protected] or 1-800-359-5520, and we’d be happy to assist. Thanks, SANUS Support
