QuestionIs the bottom of the stand padded to protect the entertainment center? If not, would there be a problem with me adding felt pads that you can buy at a hardware store? Is the bottom surface completely flat to add these felt pads and is it safe to add them?

- Answer I had Geek Squad in stall so I'm not sure but I did move stand on my book case and it did not mark the top of the case.

- Answer From the person who posted the question: I just talked to customer support at Sanus, the answer is NO. The horizontal bars that need to be attached to the panasonic tv fall short by about 2 inches. Does anyone have any suggestions except to return the product to the store? Thanks.
