This product states that it is in wall rated as long as cables run through it are in wall rated as well. Thicker gauge wire and insulation helps protect from overheating. Up to local codes from municipality to say yes or no, but same time you're in your house who cares about the inspector. Just buy a solid HDMI wall rated and any other cord you need from reputable company

Please try again later.From my understanding it does because the power outlet is romax the wire that is used to actually install and relocate power outlets I do know depending on where you live fire codes very but this kit should cover it it's not a extension cord in the wall it's actual romax wire
