• Yes, this is how I am using this installation. The bottom cord from the WireMold plugs into the surge protector and the surge protector plugs into the wall outlet.

• The instructions call for plugging into a standard outlet, but we have looking into it and determined that there would be no issue with using this with a surge protector.

• I don't see why not but depending on the circuit remember it's almost like plugging a power strip into a power strip cause the kit is receiving power from a power source not generating it it's just a fancy extension cable

• The surge protector (male plug) would plug into the bottom portion of the extension (female outlet).
