Q: QuestionWill Geek squad install this in California?

• A:Answer Yes they will but they charge to do it. They wanted $350 to install my wall mount and the cable concealment kit. $50 of that was the kit. I felt it was too expensive, so I did it myself.

Q: QuestionIs this shallow enough to fit in the wall above a fireplace? Meaning, is there enough space behind the box to run the wires/cords down inside the wall, or does it take up the entire space inside the wall?

• A:Answer This kit is designed to be installed in a standard 2x4 framed wall (3 1/2" deep plus drywall depth). Assuming your walls are standard depth, you should be able to install it and run cords inside the wall just fine. • A:Answer Yes. Just follow the instructions. Make certain to put the tv mounting bracket on the wall first. Locate a place behind the tv between 2 studs to install the kit. Make certain that there is no plumbing in the wall (kitchen or bath on the other side), not a common wall (no neighbors on the other side) or exterior wall. Kit includes a template to make cutting the holes easier.

• A:Answer Yes, as long as there is enough clearance behind the TV. The recessed power kit creates space for the TV plug, but if you have a standard (non-recessed) outlet directly behind the TV, it may prevent the TV from sitting flush against the wall. Q: QuestionWhere do all the cables from the top brush plate go? Do they fit in the little receptacle above the bottom power outlet?

• A:Answer they go down the same bay and plug into the bottom outlet cover thing that comes with the unit, You will creat another hole at the bottom of the wall and install the outlet that comes with it, then the cord that comes with it must plug into an existing outlet to give power up to the oitlet you put behind the tv.

Q: QuestionDo the receptacle boxes allow for the installation of flexible conduit connection? I may have to install some in the wall between the Power Kits upper and lower power receptacle for wire protection even if the wire is rated for installation inside a wall.

Q: QuestionThe installer accidentally cut too big of a hole in drywall for bottom receptacle. Does Sanus make any type of plate or adapter I could use so I could fill the hold in drywall without having to get expensive drywall repair?
