It depends on which holes in the two brackets were used to attach them to the back of the TV. If you're not all the way to the bottom end of the bracket then you should be able to move the bracket up on the back of the TV. Depending on the size of your TV and threaded hole locations used to attach bracket, at some point the bracket may stick up and be visible above the top of the TV if you move it too far. If you pull the TV away from the wall you can probably seem how much "wiggle room" you have to move the brackets and lower the TV position. Also, drilling new mounting holes for the wall bracket wouldn't be the end of the world if the old holes are hidden behind the TV. Depending on how much you want to lower the TV, you might get away with using the lower two holes as the upper holes and drill two new lower mounting holes for the wall bracket.
