In my experience, with my TV and this bracket, I just grab the TV from the sides and pull it out towards me. There are no pulleys or levers like other brackets, that unless you pull a lever it won’t pull off from the wall. This one, you just pull the TV. If it gives you resistance, your bolts might be too tight at the joints.
