“My studs above a fireplace are spaced 19" apart. Is there a slot for mounting or would I need to drill out a hole on the monting bracket to accomodate this?”

This wall mount is super adjustable in that it has multiple 3-4" slots where you can drill into the stud at any width (as long as it isn't wider than the wall mount itself.) From eyeballing mine, it looks like 19" should work fine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Drilling through the mount metal will not be necessary. You will mount the wall mount by adjusting it, left or right, to fit your studs. Afterwards, you will hang your television by sliding it left or right to achieve your center. Hope this helps.
