How close to the wall does this hold the TV? null

It’s adjustable, but the closest I can get our tv is about 3-4” from the wall.

The mount actually allows for you to pull the TV forward from the wall. I'd say it pulls out maybe an inch or two from the wall. Should be plenty of give so that you are not bumping the TV against the wall each time.
