• No it will not. I have the 65EF9500 and moved into a house where the previous owner left a Sanus BTR2. It doesn't work. The BTR2 requires a VESA-compatible mounting screw pattern on the TV. The 65EF9500 for some reason has a trapezoid-shaped screw pattern that isn't anywhere near a VESA standard. You can confirm that they're incompatible by going to the Sanus website and searching for 65EF9500: it says there are no compatible mounts for that TV.

• Mounted an LG65c9 with no problems. Mount can easily handle tv weight because large tv’s are not heavy compared to it’s size. My wife assisted!
