A:AnswerIf you have steel studs instead of wood studs. There was really no difference in the kit. It is a strong mount. We mounted a 75 inch TV with it.
A:AnswerVarious types of mounting hardware included: washers, different types to screw lengths and thread design to fit almost any tv, mounting bolts for wood studs and brick. I mounted an LG65c9 tv with no problems. Most mounts are universal. Features as advertised
A:AnswerI’d go for studs if at possible. Depending on weight of tv it might be tricky to hold without them. Note that the tv doesn’t have to be centered on the mount.
A:AnswerNo it will not. I have the 65EF9500 and moved into a house where the previous owner left a Sanus BTR2. It doesn't work. The BTR2 requires a VESA-compatible mounting screw pattern on the TV. The 65EF9500 for some reason has a trapezoid-shaped screw pattern that isn't anywhere near a VESA standard. You can confirm that they're incompatible by going to the Sanus website and searching for 65EF9500: it says there are no compatible mounts for that TV.
A:AnswerYes. You may need to purchase different anchors though as this one only comes with concrete anchors. I have mounted this in drywall without studs also, using drywall anchors. It’s very sturdy and holds up well.
A:AnswerHow much space you'll have horizontally will depend on the make and model of TV. Vertically the opening for outlets is 5.5" on the Sanus BLT2-B1.
