“I'm looking for a heavy duty wall mount for a TV that will accommodate tvs up to 85" that can rotate the TV to portrait and landscape. Does this mount allow the TV to be rotated to portrait? If not, do you have a suggestion?”

The stand does not spin on the stand at all to allow this. It will go every other way.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a 65 inch. I was hoping that the product would be able to turn my TV 90 degrees. It doesn’t, but it does turn about 70 degrees. An 85 inch would turn much less as it would turn into the wall at about 50 degrees. That’s an estimate. I hope I have been helpful.
