“When Flush against the wall, how far will this mount slide side-to-side? I need ~6"to 10" side to side when flush to fit in space and use existing studs. I do need a mount that will pull out (just to add / replace cables). Any other mount work?”

first off when its all the way to the wall it sticks out 7 inches. when you pull it out it will go side to side as much as you want or more.
