“What is the height of these with the speaker? is it measured to the mount and thats 34 inches or the top of a speaker”

The height of the stand are 34 inches.

34-1/4 " to the bottom of the speaker. The height is not adjustable. I have Sonos 1's so the height to the top of my speakers is 40-1/2". This stand is outstanding. Everything goes together perfectly.

With the speaker in the stand horizontally it is 45 1/8 inches. And correct 34 inches is to the top of the mount.

With no speaker mounted, the speaker stand is 34.5 inches from the floor to the mounting bracket. With a Play:1 mounted, it measures 40.75 inches from the floor to the top of the speaker.

It is 34" to the speaker mounting surface. The speaker adds additional height, 34" + the dimension of the Play 1 or Play 3 (vertical or horizontal orientation) speaker.
