“I have a pair of wireless rear speakers but they need to be plugged into an electrical outlet. can these stands allow me to hide the electrical plug and cord INSIDE the stand or would I have to wrap the cord around the outside of the stand itself?”

It provides a port to run a wire. The end on my speaker wire would not fit in the port. The option is to cut the cord and splice it back together as per electrical code. Butt splice connectors worked for me.
