If you can provide the full model number of your TV I can let you know if this mount is compatible. You can also find out by using the Mount Finder tool at http://mf1.bestbuy.selectionassistant.com/number of TV? If you are looking to place your thin TV as close to the wall as possible the VMT15 would be an excellent option. It sits just 7/8" from the wall and features many of the same technologies as the VMPL50a. The VLF311 is an excellent option if you are looking for a thin profile and full-motion capabilities. It sits just 1.25" from the wall and offers 11 inches of extension.

yes, but it might stick out further from the wall than you want it to. If you don't need the tilt feature you can get a mount that will fit closer to the wall. You don't need this one, your's is lighter than my plasma but it will work.
