• Sanus website has an application that allows you to enter your tv and the dimensions of where you want your tv to be, it will then give you the dimensions to hang the mount. I used this and all said and done, it hung within 1'4" of where I wanted it.

• The VMPL50a sits 1.8 inches from the wall so I would advise leaving at least 2 inches.
