“I live-stream my church services with my camera hooked up to my laptop. Some of our speakers are too far away to be heard via the camera or laptop internal mic. Will these solve my problem by being placed on the altar or clipped to speakers' clothing???”

You will be better off with the mic attached to clothing about 9 inches from the speaker's mouth.
