I just got a Surface Book 3 recently and it works OK with it. There's an issue with overloading it if you use a USB keyboard and mouse along with 2 monitors, speakers, and ethernet cable.. the mouse/kb will sometimes randomly disconnect. I solved that buy using a wireless kb/mouse.
