• I use a Thunderbolt to HDMI in one port and a Thunderbolt to DisplayPort in the other and it works perfectly fine with my new Macbook 14” You don’t need anything special as long as your computer supports Thunderbolt 4.

• You can use thunderbolt to display port/hdmi and it will work. For mac display port is recommended.

• Yeah the 3x TB4 ports on the dock are all true TB4 pass throughs supporting 40gbps. I'm running my LG 4K 144Hz display from this dock using a $20 TB3 to DP1.4 cable from Amazon (Maxonar). Works perfectly.
