It has a handle on the back and wheels on the front, so you would only need to lift up the back and push it (or pull) instead of picking the whole thing up off the ground to move it. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised to discover how easy it was to roll into place in our basement. However, it would be a little harder to roll on a high pile carpet so you probably wouldn’t want to move it very often.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm 72 years old and on the low end of the strength scale. That said, I can maneuver it but not particularly easily, especially on challenging materials like carpet. My last recumbent bike (a Nautilus) was a lot easier to move because it had bigger front wheels. However, the monitor was absolute crap (like in stopped working after awhile despite being replaced at least once). If they've fixed that issue, and the bike is at a reasonable price point, it might also be worth considering.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The back of the Schwinn 270 is equipped with a handle, so you don't lift the entire 90 pounds when you move the bike. There are wheels up front to assist in moving. They aren't the greatest wheels, but they help. If you can lift 25-30 pounds, you should be able to move the bike - even on carpet.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It depends on how you want to move it. Moving it in a straight line isn't hard as long as you lift the rear high enough, which is at least waist high. Moving it side to side is a different story. Think of it like moving a badly designed wheel barrow.
