“We received the bike with a broken HR cable. Aside from a full refund or replacement (out of stock), does the bike function properly without the HR function in operation? Also does Schwinn provide replacement parts and how easy is it to repair?”

The owners’ manual has a customer support number and I found them very helpful and responsive. They will send parts very quickly and depending on the problem, send someone to make the repair if you are not comfortable making it yourself. They
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it will work fine without the HR cable connected. In fact the only thing that is lacking in performance with this bike is the HR function. It shows incorrect information probably because it only is sensed by your hand grip. I use a pulse ox merer on my fingertip to show pulse and O2. Other than that this is an excellent bike and I love it. It is actually a Nautilus R 606 labled as a Schwinn. The Around the World free app is also great
