A:AnswerYes it really helped me. When therapy tried me on regular upright exercise bike I couldn’t bend my knee enough to get over the top of the stroke. But when they put me on a recumbent bike I was able to complete stroke in no time at all.

A:AnswerI have always found the footstraps uncomfortable to use on this bike as well as others I use at other fitness centers. I always fold under or disconnect the straps and use the bike without it and have no problems with just my shoes on the pedals. Works fine without the straps and don't feel I really need them.
