As long as there is a flat back yes

The magnet doesn't stick directly to the phone, but a metal plate you adhere to the back of the phone or inside of the case. So as long at you can get the plate to stick, it should work!

I don’t think there would be any compatibility issues with android vs apple.

I've used it on a 2013 Ford Cmax, a 2017 hyundai accent , a 2017 Toyota Yaris, & a 2017 Ford Focus so far & it worked well on all 4. It has 2 sizes so you rotate the mount according to how thick the vent bars are.

You can use almost any phone, you just need magnetic strips to put on the phone or case to use with the vent clip.

It says that it is compatible with all phones and that is true to an extent. The magnet will probably fit on all phones and cases. However I carry a Note 4 with an otterbox case and everytime I touched the phone when it was on this it would fall to the ground.

No. It is labeled as a UNIVERSAL mount, not a device-specific mount.
