A: I believe it might work. The clip itself can me flipped around to accommodate thinner or thicker vents. It is NOT adjustable though.

Q: Is magnet strong enough to hold up a iPad mini 1st gen?
A: I doubt it.

A: Yes, the MagicMount vent will work with a Samsung Galaxy S22. A: The MagicMount vent is compatible with your vehicle, however we do not recommend using it to mount an iPad. We'd recommend taking a look at our MagicMount XL line of mounts.
