The magnet mount works very well and hold my 6S even on the roughest city roads and it can even hold my wife 6SPlus with ease. The only drawback is that if you pull it directly off from the mount, the mount will sometime go with the device. Easiest way is to slide it off.

This fits on most of my vents in our cars. I like that I can move it to different vehicles easily. I am concerned that my phone gets too cold or hot from the air coming out of the vent, I need to check with Apple to see if that affects my iPhone

This purchase was initially a result of a mistake -I accidentally ordered another product for store pickup. Totally my fault. However, had it not been for a very knowledgeable gentleman at the pick up desk who made a recommendation for this product, I would have walked out empty handed. What a great product! I have tried numerous 'vent clip' ideas in the past but none have worked as effectively as this little gem. As a matter of fact, most either break or damage the car's vent. Not this one! Perfect fit and it holds the phone perfectly as well. As a driver of an enthusiast car, it's also great to have the screen in my line of sight right there with the instrument cluster so my eyes stay straight ahead. Overall, probably the least expensive, most valuable purchase I've recently made at Best Buy.

I do quite a bit of driving on the daily bases and use my phone through my day. I have been very particular with my mounts and have purchased a new mount every few months due to breaking wear and tear. I have used quite a bit of different varieties. Most of them purchased at bestbuy. All of the mounts that have arms and hug your phone I have tried. They have the spring loaded mechanism. I found them to always wear out and eventually break. This mount using a magnet is absolutely great. Easy to slide off while your driving and more importantly so easy to put your phone back on. Basically slap it to the magnet and your golden. I've worried about the phone falling off during bumps and rough terrain but I have to say the Manet is amazing. Phone doesn't budge at all. I have a mophie battery pack which is a secondary battery on my phone which essentially is a phone case just much thicker. I placed the inner magnet on the inside of my mophie which did NOT work. I had to place the magnet on the outside of the mophie which is on the back of the phone where it grabs magnet to vent mount magnet. Overall I've seen 20 different mounts mostly from Best Buy. This one is the best. Don't waste your money on the spring loaded devices. The spring breaks over time and you end up buying a new mount and taking your hands off the wheel to put your phone up on the dash. This thing just slap your phone on and keep yourself focused on the road. That easy

It does everything that I was looking for in a non windshield mounted phone holder. It easily mounts on vents with no risk of falling or suction cup style windshield mount as other types use. It also is great, in that the adapter also can be used as a mounting stand on a table or nightstand.

I have been through many different ways to hold a phone in my car. This has worked the best. The magnet is strong enough to hold my iPhone 7plus without any issues. There was a second magnet that I gave to my wife to use for her phone. It makes it very easy to use GPS.

I love this gadget. I can move my phone to whatever side the sunlight isn't streaming on so I can read the cell screen. It's so portable! I switch it out between rental & my own car. The magnet is very powerful. It definitely does what it says.

This gadget is pretty handy. I love how convienant it is to just throw your phone on it as soon as you get in the car and your phone being in front of you and easily accessible. However, in my car, particularly, I cannot place the mount in my middle vents (above my stereo) bc my stereo buttons protrude out and my phone, when placed on the mount, does not make full contact with the mount. So I have to mount the mount on the drivers side vent near the door. Which isn’t awful but my aux cord and charger cord do not reach over to the drivers side so I can neither charge nor listen to the music on my phone while my phone is mounted. This is only the case with my car. So be aware of your car vents and what’s going on directly under them! Other than that, the mount is useful!

Bought this for the fiance and she loves it. Was easy to put together and install. Hasn't ran into any issues yet. Keeps the phone where she needs it and she likes that she can take the clip and transfer it to any vehicle.

I purchased this item for my daughter. She uses it in her car and loves it. It is easy to quickly attach the phone and it doesn't fall off.

I travel alot and this is perfect for personal cars and rentals. Its a attach and go type deal.. Easy to use and not cheapily made..

My new fancy car with all the bells and whistles has a lousy navigation system and my Garmin died after several years. Decided to use the apps on my iPhone instead. The salesman in Best Buy said he personally uses this one. Very happy with the purchase. It has a very strong magnate and can hold my 7plus with no problem. Thought the $24 was a little high but now feel for a superior product it was worth the money. Recommend this item highly.

My IP6 got so hot in the summer sun with a window mount, so I decided to try the AC vent mount. I placed the metal inside of the life-proof case (no bulge or anything) and it holds the phone to the vent magnet just fine. It is so cool looking, and works so good some of my coworkers ordered the same mount for their phones (android and Iphone).

Love the magnet mounting system. Works great in my car and so convenient for handsfree texting and voice commands. Only downside to the vent mount is that you have to be careful how you remove your phone so it doesn’t pull the mount off with the phone and it blocks the airflow. I don’t mind this bc I’m cold natured but my husband doesn’t like it. He prefers the permanent stick mount to the dash which also works well.

The magnet is so strong that often times picking up my phone means pulling the mount out of my vent. But I love how effortless and secure my fairly large Blade Z80 Max phone mounts into my vent for GPS, watching movies, listening to Pandora, or whatever

Comes with a separate magnet that it needs to contact with. There are several ways to mount it but I actually used my brain and stuck it to someone’s business card I was handed and slipped it behind my phone and case. Not visible and will not leave sticky residue on my phone! Use this trick and you have a phone mount that you literally slap the phone onto and forget about it. Also people think you’re super trendy when your phone mount literally takes no effort and you just put it on the mount. Very useful. ONE MORE TIP. Wipe off the mount every once in a while. Will collect dirt from your phone. If you notice it not holding as well as usual it’s probably because the mount is collecting dirt. Wipe off or clean with a Clorox wipe and you’re back in the game.

Works great! Attached to my AC vent. Holds my iPhone with no issue.

This is a thoughtfully designed $21 solution. The base, which contains the magnet, clips on firmly to a vent slat or similar object, providing a vertical or near vertical attachment surface. Each of the two pads can each be self-adhered to the back of a device which is then held to the base magnetically. The magnet is strong enough to allow use of the touch screen, yet the device pulls away easily when detaching it. The adhesive works well, yet I was able to carefully remove one of the pads with a paint scraper when my phone changed and reattach it to the new one with my own contact cement. Worked perfectly for me but you might have a different environment or needs.

Love it! Portable. Holds phone well and does not interfere with Maps.
