The $35 fee is only if you choose to use the DVR features. You would still be able to watch "Live" OTA content after the year is up.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Not sure what the other community response is about. With a SCRIBE we literally can't charge a $35 fee to start. You plug in your box, and you automatically have DVR. No need to insert credit card info or anything. After the first year, if you don't want to pay the fee, the only thing turned off is the ability to record. All existing recordings are yours. And you can keep watching live TV. Absolutely no requirement to keep paying.
