Unless you want to void the systems warranty and open the system up then it's a great addition. Currently they don't have a system out at the time to allow its hard drive to be swapped.

I do not know if it will work with Xbox 1. But I know that it can work with ps4. You can try.

Well unlike the Playstation 4 the Xbox one doesn't support switching internal drives. It isn't impossible, but the process is a lengthy one that involves opening the entire console which WILL void your warranty if you have one. Instead the Xbox one is meant to have external drives which is also just as good and sometimes even better.

This hard drive is intended for laptops. Did not find an example of someone using it in an Xbox.
