Check the size and RPMs. Think this one is 5400rpm but don't have it in front of me at the moment. Should be fine...if the specs match.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I can't say for absolute certain, but it should. Anytime I've used Seagate with Sony I've never had an issue. I replaced 3 PS3 and a ps4 hdd all with seagate. Never a Vaio, but a toshiba laptop and that worked fine also.
