“Has anyone tried to use this drive in a ps3? I know it will physically fit but will the ps3 actually be able to use it.”

• i purchased for my PS4 and was able to install with no problems so i think the ps3 would be the same no issues you just need a flash drive (thumb drive) thumbdrive for the firmware id say at lest 2gb

• It works great in my PS4 just have to get the software off of PlayStation.com and follow instructions they give you I'm sure it it works with PS4 it should work in PS3
