It's a strange color description from the specs page. This is an internal drive so it is in fact multi-colored, but ideally it will not be seen, so who knows why the color description is in the product title.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Multi is for multimedia - Videos, Pictures etc etc.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Multi means various sorts, e.g. in this case if you look at the side of the box, Seagate says that it will work successfully with Windows 7, 8 and 10, and Mac OS X Snow Leopard or later, and, of course, Linux. Basically, it will work with any system that supports a 3Gb or faster SATA interface, and a 2TB drive.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Multi means for desktop and laptops that you travel with. If you use it for a laptop that is basically for work and travels a lot, you do not want a big external hd, you want a small portable hard drive. If you use a laptop only at home or a desktop that is stationary I recommend using a larger hard drive that plugs into the wall for power and now a USB only HD.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is comparable with several operating systems and platforms
