yes, I've done it multiple times. With the included software you can add a second hard drive to your computer or clone your existing one to replace it.

It says on there the options for using the drive (as secondary, for replacing existing, or as storage, etc). One of them describes cloning. Im completely new to this entire thing but, seeing as how my windows cd wont boot up correctly (something about missing a cd/dvd driver), I might resort to this. Im glad they included the cables needed for it as well. If it does NOT work, I will edit/reply for anyone else in the future who is buying this. If I dont edit/replay, assume it worked :)
