“Will this hard drive work for me. I have an ASUS Model K52F, it is only less than 3 years old. But the hard drive I believe is damaged. If this product does not work, what can you recommend. Thanks”

This drive will work. You can clone your existing hard drive to this drive with reputable hard drive cloning software. This is recommended of course, if you do not wish to lose your information and Windows installation on your failing/damaged hard drive.
