• It worked for mine! No issues. It will ask you to erase everything on the drive first, not a problem, and then you can sync. Worked like a charm! 54 GB in only about 20 minutes.

• Yep, works great with mine. I believe they provide online instructions to format it correctly. I back up my MBP with Time Machine on this product.

• Yes, but if your Mac is using a case-sensitive journaled volume, you might need to use disk manager to reformat the USB drive to match the internal hard drive's settings.
