“Does the unit require connecting to 2 USB (USB-2) ports like my omega backup drive does ? I really need an extra USB port on my iMac 2011 and wondering if I can get drives which utilize only one port”

• I think only needs to use one port so you can use the other port as you require.

• Not sure about the Mac, but works in my PC without using two USB ports. Comes with a single USB cable
