• It should be...you should have the option to install the interface to either a Windows O/S or a Mac O/S

• If your Mac supports USB 3.0, then the drive will work for you at the posted USB 3.0 speeds. If your Mac is older, you might be limited to USB 2.0 speeds, but in either case, the drive will work fine.
