It's an easy setup. Once you connect the drive, you would see it as a "folder", which you can then access to launch your movies.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Should be no problem to stream a movie from an external drive to a MacBook Pro if you get an external drive with USB interface. If you get a USB external drive connect it to your MacBook and in a few moments an icon for the external drive should appear on your desktop. Double click on this icon to open up a window with the contents of the external drive, find the movie file and double click it to launch it. You are done.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I down load movies to my seagate in approximately 2 minutes per movie. Then it takes about 30 seconds to plug it in later and watch. Very easy interface: drag and drop to download, double click to open. Also it works between PC and Mac.
