A:AnswerThis USB drive takes power from your PC, so a direct connect to your phone is probably a no.
Try a USB flash drive. They come as large as 256 GB, yes GB.
A:AnswerDid you plug the external hard drive to the front USB port on the PS4?
The back USB ports on the PS4 are not USB 3.0. I had the same problem on my PS4 Slim.
A:AnswerI use it as USB 3.0 with Win 10. Ii is also backwards USB 2.0 compatible so that should work with VISTA. Moving files from your old laptop via USB 2.0 will be frustratingly slow but once they are on the new drive they will come off at USB 3.0 speeds.
A:AnswerNo, you need to purchase a specific flash drive that'll work for iphones like this:

A:AnswerI thought it seemed very slow to download my photos and documents. But once I understood I had to download them via Control Panel, it just took a few seconds. I tried downloading from this Seagate itself but it I couldn't really download anything and I don't understand how to access this hard drive that way.
So, I tried to think outside the box, and tried to download to the drive with Control Panel in Windows 10 via my desktop, and it went much more smoothly like that. I would think downloading whole game programs may run a little slowly and take a few minutes,, but once the downloading is done, accessing from the Seagate is very fast. I found it faster than from my computer itself.
About games, maybe it works differently with them because they are much bigger in terms of how many bytes used just to function, and I have seen ads on BB that talk about other backup drives that work better with games. I would do your research and get a Seagate specifically geared for games, if that's the brand that has worked for your previously.
